After our successful climb in Mt. Kalisungan in Calauan, Laguna, we headed to the nearby falls called Bunga Falls.
Bunga Falls (also called Twin Falls) is located at Brgy. Bunga, Nagcarlan, Laguna. This is one of the small falls in Laguna with 15 meters of height. The view is very attractive but the water then is not clear. The water is 2-3 meters deep, so I advise to take extra care especially for those non-swimmers like me. :) The place is surrounded by small huts and mini stores. This is good for family outing but please make sure your children will not reach the deep part of the falls. This is also good as sidetrip after a climb in Mt. Kalisungan like we did before we headed back home.
HOW TO GET THERE
In our case, we rented a tricycle after our climb in Mt. Kalisungan. There are tricycles at the front of Brgy. Lamot's Hall. If you're just going to Bunga Falls directly, take bus/jeep heading to Sta.Cruz and drop off in Nagcarlan. Then ride a tricycle going to Bunga Falls.
ACTUAL EXPENSES
Tricycle: P400/ride (back and forth)
Entrance fee: P5/person
Parking fee: P15
Hut: P100
PS: You can rent a salbibida, I just don't know the cost. :)
