Before the year 2015 ends, I had a chance to visit the newest attraction in Rizal, which is the Masungi Georeserve. Masungi is one of the ecotourist spot here in the Philippines located in the town of Tanay.

One of the newly opened mountains last Q3 of 2015 is Mt. Ulap also known as Philex Ridge. And because of its trail and the iconic Gungal rock, many hikers were attracted. My hiking buddies set a climb for this mountain and decided to try something unusual, which is to do a night trek.

Trip in Old Manila: A Birthday Well Spent in Intramuros, Manila

I don't have any idea how will I going to celebrate my birthday. Ideally, it should be a birthday climb in Mt. Ugo, but it was scheduled for the next long weekend. However, my friend, Crissa Alcaraz insisted to join me in attending mass in Manila Cathedral in Intramuros then grab the chance to visit Fort Santiago.

To the Beach: Oscar Island - The Island Hopping Experience

After our perfect adventure at Mt. Gulugod Baboy, we hopped to an island as our side trip, the Oscar Island. This was my first Mountain to Beach experience that's why I encouraged my fellow hikers to have a side trip in this island.
