Color Manila Run is the most colorful and most popular non-race running event in the Philippines. This event aims to enjoy running without any pressure, just enjoy and have fun. Since it's a non-race, Color Manila Run is a great running event for beginners.
Color Manila Nite Run 2 is the first running event that I joined in. The event held in Filinvest, Alabang last February 2014. I invited my co-workers, Ayen Santos and Ralph Sison to join me on the event for me to have more fun, and they got interested. Maybe because they don't have to wake up early considering it's a evening run. Haha! It's really fun because many people joined the event and there are lot of pretty girls too. Hahaha! On the event, I told my buddies to have fun and take a lot of pictures as there are many photographers around the route. Since it's an evening run, Color Manila has gimik to make the run colorful. There are inclusive glowsticks to put on neck, wrist, or on the shoes while running.

We have series of run/walk during the event. My two co-workers are not regular runners unlike me, but we run more than we walk. We didn't care how much time we ran the 5km, as long as we finish and we enjoyed it. You can see in our faces that we have fun in the run, and that's a rule.

Additional feature of this event is the post-race party. This time we don't have pictures because Ma'am Ayen leave us after the run because of her daughter. But Ralph and I still enjoy the party, jump to the beat of the music and have a blast.
