I've read an article from WhenInManila.com about a girl conquering Mt. Balingkilat and telling why we should put it on our bucketlist. I was convinced and share the page on Facebook. It was noticed by my friend so he told me that he will set a climb in Mt. Balingkilat.

In search for the Sea of Clouds, I didn't think twice on joining in this climb set by MMS member, Ed Velasquez. According to some blogs that I've read, Mt. Amuyao has a greater chance of having sea of clouds as compared to Mt. Pulag and other mountains in the Philippines. Since Ed is a hardcore mountaineer, he decided to make it a Reverse Traverse (Batad, Ifugao to Barlig, Mountain Province).

#NoHikeFebraury is my campaign for the month of February because aside from I climbed twice last January, for sure there will be a lot of singles out there that will try to climb mountains to forget what they've been through about their lovelife. I've been an avid climber of Rizal mountains or the Sierra Madre not just because it's near in Manila. It really offers a lot, from exciting trails to great views. One of the best town in Rizal that offers a lots of nature tripping is the town of Rodriguez (formerly Montalban) where there are 5 mountains open for mountain climbing. I already scaled Pamitinan, Binacayan, Hapunang Banoi and Sipit Ulang, and one more left, which is Ayaas.

Before the year 2015 ends, I had a chance to visit the newest attraction in Rizal, which is the Masungi Georeserve. Masungi is one of the ecotourist spot here in the Philippines located in the town of Tanay.

Hiking Adventures #20: Mt. Ulap (Philex Ridge) Night Trek

One of the newly opened mountains last Q3 of 2015 is Mt. Ulap also known as Philex Ridge. And because of its trail and the iconic Gungal rock, many hikers were attracted. My hiking buddies set a climb for this mountain and decided to try something unusual, which is to do a night trek.
