Mt. Gulugod Baboy |
It was September 2014 when I last climbed Mt. Gulugod Baboy. We did an overnight climb and then visit Oscar Island after. That was one of the perfect climbs of mine. And last November 14, I once again visited the mountain for a dayhike with Anna Marcos and Abbie Giron with her officemates from Monde. We also have Earl Santos my officemate from Philweb.
Our call time was 3AM. We decided to set it on that time to start early to avoid the scorching weather while hiking up. We arrived in the jump-off at dawn just in time for our expected arrival. Then we looked for a barangay official to register. Registration Fee is P35.00.

But they did a great job. After more or less 2 hours when we reached the summit. And we were really amazed on the views. One of them is a first timer and she said that she now knows why people climb mountains. In her words, "Ngayon alam ko na kung bakit may umaakyat ng bundok.".
