One of my group's bucket list this year is to do a night trek in one of the unshaded mountain which is good for stargazing and sunrise watching. To pull this one off, we have chosen Mt. Batolusong for this stint.

I've always wanted to hike Mt. Arayat because I always see the mountain every time I go North and pass through NLEX. I know the view from above would be great as no other mountains near Arayat. Finally, I've got a chance to scale this mountain and do a traverse dayhike.

Hiking Adventures #25: Mt. Amuyao Reverse Traverse (Batad, Ifugao to Barlig, Mt. Province)

In search for the Sea of Clouds, I didn't think twice on joining in this climb set by MMS member, Ed Velasquez. According to some blogs that I've read, Mt. Amuyao has a greater chance of having sea of clouds as compared to Mt. Pulag and other mountains in the Philippines. Since Ed is a hardcore mountaineer, he decided to make it a Reverse Traverse (Batad, Ifugao to Barlig, Mountain Province).
